ITT Technical Institute

ITT Technical Institute is commonly referred to as ITT Tech. ITT Tech is a profit-based technical institute with over one hundred campuses in almost forty states in the USA. ITT Tech is owned by a public corporation called ITT Educational Services, Inc. ITT Tech licenses the “ITT” name from the old ITT Corporation, which used to be short for “International Telephone & Telegraph”.

ITT Tech began in 1946 as Educational Services Inc and has kept its home office in Carmel, Indiana, since 1969. ITT Tech primarily provides career-focused educational programs to nearly 80,000 enrolled students.

ITT Tech can offer students, AAS, bachelor’s BAS, and master’s degrees online. ITT Tech is nationally accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools. Financial aid is available for students who wish to attend ITT Tech. Prospective ITT Tech enrollees are advised to check how much tuition they can afford based on how much they will earn in their chosen field of study.

ITT Tech focuses on giving students the technical training needed to succeed in the modern workplace. Most programs at ITT Tech offer the same weekly class schedule, which makes life easier for busy students who need to juggle families and jobs. Students at ITT Tech can finish their programs quickly due to the availability of year-round class schedules.

At an ITT Technical Institute, career preparation begins long before graduation. Assistance is offered on job-seeking and job-keeping skills and techniques. Also, students are advised of entry-level job openings and interview opportunities.

ITT Tech students enjoy more time in the lab where they can learn for themselves — how and why things work. ITT Tech is proud of the hands-on learning environment they offer.

Each ITT Technical Institute is licensed/authorized by the state in where it is located. All schools are accredited or seeking accreditation by the U.S. Department of Education. All ITT Techs are eligible to be a part of  federal student financial aid programs administered by the U.S. Department of Education.
